Some of my favorite chefs will be cycling 300 miles to benefit #Chefcycle, and No Kid Hungry.

I love chefs. I love cycling. Therefore, I love #chefscycle.

For nearly 30 years, chefs and restaurants have served as the most ardent supporters of No Kid Hungry by raising millions to help end child hunger in America.

This weekend some of my favorite East Coast chef/heroes will hop on their bikes and will be riding 300 miles each, to raise awareness and funds for No Kid Hungry. 4_dp0h39e1J84O3cbuOo6gOlJWh8kRUeBpntR0SiwnA

Nearly 50 chefs and restaurant industry professionals from all over the country are cycling from New York City to Washington, DC, and from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

Some of my favorite hospitality folks: Seamus Mullen, Tertulia  Bryan Voltaggio, Volt DC, and Kevin Richer, General Manager, North End Grill will be part of the No Kid Hungry #chefscycle charity ride.

Check out the website to donate, follow along, and see all the amazing riders who will be donning bike helmets instead of chef hats this weekend.

The east coast cyclists will be taking off on their bikes, this Sunday June 7th, at 6:30 AM for the 300 mile journey, departing from Shake Shack in Madison Square Park.

Check out the #chefscycle for No Kid Hungry website and PLEASE give whatever you can.

One dollar goes a very long way. Just like our beloved #chefscycle #teamnokidhungry. 300 miles… to be exact!
