Starwood Hotels- Want To Stay For Free?
Dan and I are Starwood Preferred Guests and when we travel, we often choose one of Starwood’s wonderful properties.
We were thrilled that IFBC 2013, was being held at W Hotel, Seattle.
Not only did the hotel give attendees amazingly affordable room rates, but the W Seattle, opened their premises to three days of fun, food, and fabulous hospitality.
Plus, we accrued some more SPG points that I would be dedicating for use on our Asia adventure.[embedplusvideo height=”450″ width=”660″ editlink=”http://bit.ly/1aIO3o6″ standard=”http://www.youtube.com/v/WGzhjyFb-30?fs=1″ vars=”ytid=WGzhjyFb-30&width=660&height=450&start=&stop=&rs=w&hd=0&autoplay=0&react=1&chapters=¬es=” id=”ep8897″ /]
Starwood American Express Card
As loyal American Express/Starwood cardholders, we’ve accumulated a fair mouth of SPG points over the past year. They can be accrued by just using the card, and when you stay at a Starwood hotel, you collect more points. The best part, is that when you first open the card, you receive a bonus of 25,000 points. We earned points during our two trips to the Sheraton Austin this year, so with all those points racked up, we are planning to make the most of them.
Starwood Hotels In Asia
Since southeast Asia is so inexpensive, our points will go a log way towards an amazing vacation, and I’ve put together a really inexpensive itinerary for us.
With only a few days left to plan, we’re still mulling over, where to stay in Koh Samui.
