Check out my Snapchat Story to see the AWESOME SoulKix Shoes (I call them SNAP KIX) I created for myself.
- “off-beaten” souls
to create their own path, by designing their own shoes…..
Since those are the words describe me perfectly, that’s just what I did!
In July 2016 at Blogger Bash, I was fortunate to meet the Founder of Soulkix, Mason Davis. Davis, an actor/philanthropist/businessman shared his true rugs-to-hugs story with me, and I can’t say enough great things about both him and SoulKix.
At the age of 19, Mason was homeless and living in a makeshift tent on top of a skyscraper in San Francisco, CA.
In order to eat, he created ART by painting pieces of wood that he found in dumpsters and then selling it!
One year later while Davis was working in a retail store he discovered a lack of fun and diversity in the shoe market. Combining these two experiences in his pretty head (Mason is SUPER adorable) he realized that people believe in both art and helping those less fortunate.
Two years later… SoulKix was born. Soulkix is an interactive shoe company whose dual mission is to both allow the consumer to have creative choices in their footwear and simultaneously be part of donating a pair of shoes to those in need.
Soulkix encourages the quirky/ weird/ artistic/ different/ inspired/ “off-beaten” soul to create their own path, of the shoe that they wear.

Soles4Souls was founded as a disaster relief organization after philanthropists and shoe executives provided footwear to those most impacted by The Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Soles4Souls was officially formed as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2006. They continue to act as second-wave responders providing footwear and clothing to those in need during times of disaster.
Since 2006, Soles4Souls has collected and distributed 26 million pairs of new shoes to those in need in 127 countries around the world and all 50 states in the U.S.
Every day children are unable to go to school, and adults are unable to work. Walking becomes unbearable when someone either doesn’t HAVE shoes, or are ill fitting.
A new pair of shoes provides relief today so thousands can succeed tomorrow. Their micro-enterprise model provides entrepreneurs the ability to start small businesses by providing a steady supply of high-quality, low-cost product; a powerful and sustainable way for people to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
