Le Meridien Koh Samui Thailand

2 Nights To Remember At The Best Hotel In Koh Samui

From the moment we entered the front gate at Le Meridién Koh Samui, it was clear that this would be a stay to remember, at the Best Hotel In Koh Samui- Starwood’s Le Meridién Hotel.

With a package deal booked through, our accommodations at the Best Hotel In Koh Samui- Starwood’s Le Meridién Hotel would include:

  • a room with private plunge pool
  • dinner for two in the hotel restaurant
  • buffet breakfast daily

We were super excited when we walked into the GORGEOUS property, and didn’t even realize just how special this property could be!

Le Meridién didn’t miss a beat. Outside the door to our suite, was our very own “trained monkey”, whose sole task was to let the housekeeping staff know when we wanted privacy.

Our monkey did a great job!

Upon arrival, guests are treated to a fruit basket. In some of the suites, they also deliver shots of rum, banana chips, and delicious coconut treats.

The bed was gorgeous, cushy, and super comfy. How do they get those sheets so soft?

here comes the bride

I discovered a wedding about to take place. If I couldn’t crash the party, I would at least try to snap some photos.

The hotel had set up a “chupah” for the beachfront nuptials.

Aom and Vicki

Breakfast was a huge buffet. I was so impressed that Food & Beverage Manager, Aom AKA Adthapong Visutyothapibal, made an extra special effort to introduce himself to us, He unnecessarily apologized, that he wasn’t able to meet us upon our arrival.

Aom and his team could not have been more helpful, hospitable, or gracious during our entire stay.

Cooking classAfter a little beach time, Dan and I took a cooking class at the hotel.

Cooking with pooWe were glad there wasn’t any poo in our meals.

My Meal

Me and my culinary delights (so proud).

Slim massage

Time for a slimming massage, a short stroll away, down on the beach. 600 Baht equals $20USD dollars. How could I resist? Could it work?

My masseuseA lovely Thai woman slapped my thighs and abs, for an hour with a potion that made my body feel like I was on fire for 4 hours. No really, ON FIRE!

Slap me silly

I think my thighs actually showed some improvement. Now if I could just lay off the fried chicken and ice cream.

Lobby RelaxingBack at the resort, posing like a super model in the lobby, with my new slimmed down physique.

Kai and MeWe ate and drank, and took a a little trip to Chaweng Beach, and after 2 amazing days and nights, it was time to depart, for the next leg of our journey.

Headed to our car after checking out, we were approached by Aom, Pannipa, and Boton…en masse. “We wanted to wish you a safe journey, and thank you for staying with us,” they said.

I was so touched, I started to cry.

I’m pretty sure that I saw a tear in the eye of F&B Manager, Adthapong Visutyothapibal AKA, Aom, although he tried to deny it.

THANK YOU, everyone at Le Méridien Koh Samui, for the best hotel experience of my life!

We hope to see you all again next year!
