Repeat after me...Tah-Gai-Tay.

Manila is a hot, humid and crowded city with massive amounts of “stop and stop” traffic. It rarely goes, which is why many people seek to ESCAPE the city for the weekend.

The smart set often travel to Tagaytay, to stay in a Beautiful Bed & Breakfast Near Manila.

It is easy to understand why people love to leave for the weekends, in search of cleaner air and more peaceful surroundings.

A popular place for a break from the heat is a Beautiful Bed and Breakfast Near Manila- Sonya’s Cottage Inn Bed & Breakfast Tagaytay.

Tagaytay, located high above sea level, overlooking the TAAL VOLCANO, is “technically” only an hour’s drive away from Manila (without traffic).

Our trip to Tagaytay took four hours by van because, “THERE IS ALWAYS TRAFFIC in Manila.”

How Does Her Garden Grow?

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the affable, elegant and UBER classy Sonya, Proprietor Extraordinaire of Sonya’s Cottage Inn Bed & Breakfast, Tagaytay.

Sonya loves to show off her Micky Mouse flowers while bragging that “splitting up with her husband was the greatest thing that ever happened to her.”

Sonya’s Cottage Inn Bed & Breakfast in Tagaytay, is a veritable cornucopia of hand chosen items and food selections.

Each and every item that fill the dining room and luxurious cottages on the premises have been hand chosen and imported from far away lands.

Sonya’s Garden is where all the vegetables and edible flowers grow…and then make it to your plate.

We enjoyed a 4 course meal while being serenaded by a guitar player.

Enter into the most beautiful Bed & Breakfast near Manila

I only got to see one of the stunningly elegant cottages, but I would have loved to linger over all the details in each of them.
It truly was a treat to marvel at the attention to detail at Sonya’s Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast in Tagaytay, Philippines.

Cottages accommodate from 1- 13 people.

Stunning Striped Wooden Floors are Sonya’s signature.

Although we only had time for a 4 course luncheon at Sonya’s Garden Bed & Breakfast, and didn’t get to sleep in one of the lovely cottages, I could easily see myself staying there for the “BED” part.

As conference attendees at TBEX Asia #TBEXPH, TBEX Travel Blogger’s Exchange, we were treated to a mini-getaway excursion to Tagaytay. Opinions are ALWAYS my own.
